[04-29-2013] Benefit Dance Saturday With Jorrells The well known dance band "The Jorrells" will be playing this Saturday night, May 4 at the Centralia American Legion. The benefit dance is the annual fundraiser for the community not-for-profit organization Band Aide. [04-29-2013] The Ralph & Bernice St. Mary Parish/Kaskaskia College Scholarship Trust Selection Committee recently selected 13 students to be scholarship recipients. [04-26-2013] Kaskaskia College’s “The Reading Link” is in need of volunteer tutors. “The Reading Link” is holding formal training free of charge for volunteers who are interested in sharing their abilities to assist others in improving their skills. Volunteers assist adult learners who are 17 years of age or older, in reading, writing, basic math, and learning Basic English Skills. [04-26-2013] Sandoval FFA Members recently participated in the Kaskaskia College Agriculture Department’s Invitational Dairy Evaluation Contest. The event was held at Kaskaskia College on the main campus. FFA Members participated in the Dairy Evaluation Workshop that was presented before the actual contest began.
